Christian Goodman's Highly Practical E-book Is A Treasure Chest Of Techniques

If you like to have plenty of techniques to choose from you will appreciate Christian Goodman's approach.

Although alredy back on track thanks to my first purchase, I decided to give it a try, for a couple of simple reasons:

  • I like to gather different approaches/points of view on a given subject
  • Goodman is a reputable sex therapist with proven track record of successfully treating premature ejaculation annoyance
  • His package is very affordable and he sweetens the pot with a trendy set of three hypnosis sessions on the specific theme of PE.

If you 've read my other reviews you know I try to be rational in my choices, so if the offer looks reasonable, there's really no argument against giving it a try

Before we go on with the details of what you'll find in the program let me spend two words about the bonus. There's widespread belief that hypnosis is either a scam or something forcing you to behave outside your control. Listen. This is absolutely false. Hypnosis is a means for you to communicate to inner parts of your self (subconscious) that lie most of the time under protection of other mental structures (conscious). We are complicated beings. Ok, ok, let's start with a snapshot of the content..

  • As one can readily see, the ebook is compact and relatively short. I liked that its table of contents is linking to the sections of the book. This adds to the ease of use of the ebook: it always surprises me positively when I notice that the author has paid attention to details. Speaking of which, I must honestly say that the book has more than a few typos (I don't know of you, but for my standards 3 is already "more than few").
  • Unlike other books that mix information and techniques, this one is quite pragmatic and offers a complete set of exercises designed to bring you to full ejaculation control. The structure of the book reflects this: the "premature ejaculation: what is it" stuff is confined in Appendix 3 while the focus of the book is on a path to follow with precise steps.
  • The other two appendixes are about Ways To Increase Orgasm In Your Partner and 10 Things You Can Do Tonight To Delay Ejaculation. They are a couple of pages long and present a decent review of common sense techniques plus some tips, but nothing really exciting or ground-breaking. At least not if you've already spent some time on the subject.

Organization Of The Book

The Program Is Split Into Three Parts:

Part I Outlines foundational exercises you will need to master before moving to the second part of this method.

  • Relaxation Exercises: Premature ejaculation is caused by conscious or unconscious anxiety. It is therefore very important to learn to relax your body. If you can relax your body while having sex, you will immediately last much longer than before. Sounds easy and logical, doesn't it? Yes it does, because...it is so! Christian suggests that you gain good proficency in this exercise before moving to the next ones. Here's where the hypnosis bonus tracks come handy, as they do quite a good job at relieving stress and anxiety. I would however spend some quality time into deepening your relaxation skills, they come handy in many other contexts.
  • Visualizing Exercise: Your mind can be your best ally, but also your worst enemy if it is working AGAINST you. Visualization is an important part of training routines in all sports at top level, and for good reason. Goodman cites the famous study where a basketball team was split into two groups and while one group trained normally, the other only visualized training. The results were amazing in that the latter group - which only visualized - performed afterwards much better than the former. In Goodman's approach, visualization is of maximum importance in tackling premature ejaculation as well. He offers a nice and deep visualization script that contains many interesting points.
  • PC Muscle Exercises: These exercises are important for two reasons:
    • To relax tension in the muscles in the genital area. Anxiety and sexual shame has caused this tension and the exercises will relieve you of it.
    • Later in the program you will be taught techniques to pull you back from ejaculation if you are heading there too fast. To do that you will have to have strong, flexible PC muscles. Goodman makes a good job in explaining that there are actually two muscular groups forming the pubococcigeus (PC) muscle. There are consequently different exercises/movements to use for training and strengthening purposes.
    All exercises in Part I are to be practiced alone.

Part II builds on the Ground Exercises in Part 1. Here, you gain awareness of your arousal level and learn to consciously move up and down the arousal scale. Mastering these exercises, you will gain total control over how close to the point of no return you let yourself go, therefore how long you last. In case you were wondering, the point of no return is the point past wich ejaculating becomes inevitable. By practicing the awareness exercises taught in the book, you learn to "expand" your awareness and to recognize many subtle changes happening in your body during intercourse, so that you can effectively manage your arousal without losing the pleasure of sex. Contrary to the exercises in Part I, you can choose to practice the awareness exercises in part 2 alone or with a partner.

Part III includes Techniques to Stop Yourself from Ejaculation. You can start using these techniques pretty soon but they will not work until you have gained some success in the exercises taught in part 1. They are basically "the next level" and rely on a very strong and trained PC muscle. I will candidly admit that I'm not yet at this level; however, I don't feel I need it at this time, as the "sexual landscape" I'm exploring these days is enough to keep me busy for a while ;-)

Is It Worth The Money?

My answer is: absolutely. Keep in mind that this is my second book, which I bought as I already was out of the 2 minutes average valley, happily heading towards more fulfilling goals. In all honesty, the Ejaculation Master doesn't have the appeal the Ejaculation Trainer has. But we're looking for results, aren't we? Then, depending on your attitudes and inclination, you may find Christian's step-by-step, to-do-list method more effective than a mix of general explanations and exercises. You can take my honest word for this: apply the techniques taught, and you will improve manyfold.
